It is, isn't it? That's the interesting part. I don't remember writing this. In fact, none of the Foreigners who received something similar remember writing or recording anything. Another product of the Dreaming, I would guess.
[There's an audible pause.]

[The image of Erskine blanches in the video, though he tries his best to keep his expression fairly neutral. What on Earth...? It doesn't say anything about Hopeless, but it's clearly referencing the former Dead Man. But why?
After a moment Ravel shakes his head, swallowing hard before he attempts to speak again.]
I don't know. It's the most likely culprit, but it's never resulted in messages quite this cryptic before.
[At least, not in Skulduggery's case. Probably not in Solomon's, either. He has absolutely no idea what his message is even referring to, let alone how it applies.]
All I can think is maybe it'll make more sense later. But if that's the case...

[There's a little huff of a breath, an audible exhale, and Erskine nods his head after a moment. Message received, even if not wholly understood. And he's keeping it together. Mostly.]
